A 200-hectare property, La Garangeoire has a rich history, dating back to the Gallo-Roman period, before belonging to the Kerautem family in the mid-19 th century.
In 1964, Michel and Monique de Kerautem developed a tourist activity in addition to the farm and opened the Camping de la Garangeoire, a member of Les Castels group.
The Castel Camping La Garangeoire is now managed by their granddaughter Anne and her husband, Éric Bourgon, representing the third generation to uphold this family legacy. The campsite holds a 5-star rating and is certified with the Ecolabel, Camping Qualité and Accueil Vélo (Cyclists Welcome) labels. For six decades, this haven of tranquility has welcomed guests from all over Europe, drawn by its authenticity and preserved natural setting.
Spacious pitches
The variety of pitches reflects the different faces of La Garangeoire: whether you prefer the shade of centenarian oak trees, a sunny meadow, or complete privacy in the shelter of the hedge, there is something for everyone.
The 160 traditional camping pitches are grouped together and almost all located in a separate meadow distinct from the rental part of the estate. Their sizes range from 120 to 260 m². Depending on your needs, you can choose between a simple pitch without electricity, with 16-amp electricity, with water and drainage, a fully equipped premium pitch (furnished with outdoor furniture, a refrigerator, a gas barbecue, and a parasol), or even a pitch with a private sanitary cabin.
For those seeking originality, the Coco Sweet offers a fun and cozy alternative between a tent and a mobile home, while the perched Bivouac tent is ideal for cycling tourists stopping overnight.
A variety of accommodation
From 2-person chalets to 8-person mobile homes equipped with two bathrooms, La Garangeoire offers modern and comfortable holiday rentals. The most demanding guests will choose the TAOS Premium models, which include dedicated internet access, beds made upon arrival, and provided towels. Others may prefer the charm of SAFARI LODGE tents for a glamping experience.
All of our rentals are equipped with a terrace, outdoor furniture, and a gas barbecue or table grill. A welcome pack, tea towel, and bath mat are provided for added convenience.
A Warm welcome for your Pets
We know how important your four-legged companions are to you, which is why we welcome them with open arms! With the exception of three models reserved for guests with allergies, pets are allowed in all our accommodation. Numerous facilities and services are designed especially for them, including a dog park, a dog shower, and dog-group walks.
