Nature activities proposed by the Lac du Jaunay campsites, Vendée

The environment of Campings du Lac du Jaunay and its valley will satisfy nature enthusiasts.

In this way, you will be able to discover the lake, by following the different walking and cycling paths, which start from our campsites for some of them. Enjoy a 12km long hiking around the true carp tank: Lac du Jaunay.

Moreover, in order to make hiking even more fun, let us bring in some geocaching! You will have a good time with his orienteering, along to your family and/or friends, looking for “geocaches” hidden along to the Pays-des-Achards trails. For this treasure hunt, you will need a small GPS that you can rent at the tourist office.

If you are interested in water activities you will not be left behind: on the verge of the Lac du Jaunay you will find a leisure centre, which one of them Les Canoës du Jaunay, where you can rent canoes and pedalos for the enjoyment of the family.

Riders do not worry! The Castel Camping La Garangeoire has an equestrian centre in which a certified instructor teaches lessons. You will then be able to ride in safety with your family, the trails of the wonderful forest estate of the camping. At theCamping Village de la Guyonnière, you will find apony club offering a complete range of activities and entertainments organised for kids, as, for example, treasure hunting within the campsite.

Finally, for the most adventurers of you, let us get to Le Grand Défi, only 5 minutes away from our campsites. The programme includes adventure park and zip-line over the Lake Jaunay, but also paintball, laser tag, disc golf and QUICKjump. The park is a favoured partner for us, that is why you can enjoy reduced rates!
